Alright, definitely think I’m well-versed enough to have an opinion on this. If I had to pick one SINGULAR movie that is the absolute best to watch high it would be 1999’s The Mummy. I mean come on, Brendan Fraser AND Rachel Weisz? Arguably the most good-looking pair to grace the silver screen? Don’t even get me started on the soundtrack–Jerry Goldsmith put his entire being into that score. It perfectly captures the spirit of adventure and danger. I watched this movie the other day while high and it was such an experience. Literally found myself chanting “Imhotep” along with the actors lol. What are your favorites to watch while high? And does anyone else share my opinion on The Mummy being a spectacular choice?

I have to agree with you the mummy 1999 is an amazing movie that gets better with age. Another good movie to watch high is space jam, a majority of that movie seemed to be written while high, which definitely doesn’t take anything away from it.

I’ve only seen it once, when I was 10. I don’t recall being high then, but…I would have to say comedies are the best. It makes me laugh at some of the jokes I just wouldn’t find funny while completely sober.

The answer for me has been and will always be The Matrix movies, but especially the first one. Will have you debating yourself about the meaning of life and just what we are supposed to do with it!

Actually when I think about it mind bending or escapism movies will always be at the top for me, Fight Club, Inception, Interstellar, Blade Runner, and most recently Tenet, which even if you’re not high, might have you thinking you are with how tough that movie is to understand.

There is definitely something about watching action movies while high. Between any Indiana Jones or Lord of the Rings movie, I get so much more invested in the storyline and better appreciate the choreography and complex visuals. I’m also always on board for a documentary – specifically, Blue Planet or Planet Earth. S/O to David Attenborough.
