The US Hemp industry is regulated to allow cannabis crops and products with no more than 0.3% THC to be sold into the marketplace. However, it’s essential to understand that some countries have different THC laws, and just because a hemp plant has more than 0.3% THC, it doesn’t mean it’s no longer hemp. Many other countries have regulations for THC percentages ranging from 0.1%-10%+. Technically speaking, from a speciation and taxonomy perspective, HEMP is HEMP, regardless of the amount of THC! For the sake of US law and since the majority of our students live in the US, we stress 0.3% THC for educational purposes. Please follow your local federal cannabis (hemp and marijuana) laws.
