Edibles

When it comes to edibles, SIZE DOES NOT MATTER! Unfortunately, there is zero consistency in the total cannabinoid dose from edible to edible, regardless of the size or weight. The video explains that some chocolate bars can look identical, but one has 10 mg total THC while the other can have 100 mg.

The DOSE is by far the most crucial thing for edibles. After knowing the dose, it’s important to make sure you’re consuming a properly homogenized edible product. Edibles like chocolates, candy, and drinks are generally properly homogenized due to manufacturing. However, as examples, some baked goods and snack foods like chips, popcorn, or beef jerky can be challenging to accurately dose. We recommend using caution with snack foods and single-serve baked goods; just because you break them in half or portion them out doesn’t mean the dose will be even.

Always remember that edibles affect everyone differently. Some people feel the effects in as little as twenty minutes, while others take up to two hours. Some can’t feel any edible high whatsoever, regardless of the dose they take. Below is the graph mentioned in the course. Check out how different a 15 mg edible was for these three individuals.
